Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma: Recognition of Markers for Targeted Therapy

چکیده
Diffuse large B-cell lymphomas (DLBCL)s, the most common type of Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, constitute a heterogeneous group disorders including different disease sites, strikingly diverse molecular features and profound variability in clinical behavior. Molecular studies trials have partially revealed underlying causes for this made possible recognition some variants susceptible specific therapeutic approaches. The main histogenetic groups include germinal center, activated B cells, thymic cells terminally differentiated basic scheme where majority DLBCL cases can be ascribed. nodal/extranodal origin, mutational changes microenvironment peculiarities provide additional layers complexity. Here, we summarize status knowledge make proposals addressing future development targeted therapy DLBC cases.

Diffuse large B cell lymphoma: molecular targeted therapy.
Diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is a biologically heterogeneous disease and the most common subtype of B cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in the USA. Even though it is a curable lymphoma in advanced stages, up to 40 % of patients eventually relapse or fail to achieve remission. Improved understanding of the biologic complexity of DLBCL reveals a diverse range of oncogenic driver mutations and ...
متن کاملA Case Report of a Metastatic Primary Gastric Lymphoma; Diffuse Large B-Cell or Burkitt Lymphoma?
Introduction: Primary gastric lymphoma (PGL) is a rare tumor, whose differential diagnosis may become complicated without precise immunohistochemistry (IHC) and genetic analysis. Case Presentation: A 33-year-old woman presented with gastric cancer and had undergone gastrectomy without precise IHC and staging in another center. Inappropriate IHC after surgery showed diffuse large B-cell lymphom...
متن کاملHISTIOCYTE-RICH B-CELL LYMPHOMA: A CASE REPORT OF A RARE VARIANT OF DIFFUSE LARGE B-CELL LYMPHOMA
The authors describe a case of histiocyte-rich B-cell lymphoma (HR-BCL), a variant of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, in a 51-year-old man. The patient presented with large axillary lymphadenopathy. Histopathologic and immunohistochemical examination of lymph node biopsy revealed diffuse effacement of the lymph node architecture by reactive histiocytes and neoplastic CD20 positive B cells. ...

متن کاملmiR-4284 and miR-4484 as Putative Biomarkers for Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma
Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma is the most common type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are endogenous small RNA, which can regulate gene expression at the post-transcriptional level. MiRNA profiling has shown a great potential as novel diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers. The present study was performed at the Nemazee Teaching Hospital (Shiraz, Iran) from 2011 to 2013.The aim of thi...
